Tickseed 9x12 oil on linen panel

Tickseed is a painting done while I was on the inland waterway at the beach.  It is oil on linen panel framed in a custom bronze  2 1/2" frame. I never thought I would paint tickseed - you know, beggar lice-  the bane of every child.  The yellow daisies grace the roadside and ditch banks in the fall and brighten up your day.  I picked some and stuck them in a derelict Mai Tai glass in our cottage and panted them. If this remains available it will be in a local February show.
